In previous books much time has been spent encouraging the believers to run towards the goal of the high mountain peak that has been set before us. The prize of the firstfruits has been on display in order that we, the believers, might be drawn toward it. God is calling us to come forward to that for which we have been predestined, to come forward in this age before the Lord returns, to run after Christ, gain Christ, and attain the goal.

However, what of those Christians who don't come forward, who don't gain Christ, who are not sufficiently mature as the end of the age approaches? This book focuses on these, the majority of Christians, who will not be taken before the great tribulation. It centers on Revelation 12 where the universal woman — that great sign — is seen fleeing to her place in the wilderness.
