The endtime is very complex. There will be numerous momentous events taking place in a very brief time. Not only that, but God must also deal with three disparate peoples on the Earth: the Jews (Israel), the Christians (the Church), and the Gentiles (the nations). Each of these requires something particular from God to end the age. It is astounding that in only seven years, God can deal with everyone on the Earth and usher in Christ's kingdom.
To make the endtime less confusing, when we look at the final years of this age, we will look first at God’s judgments during that time. We will then follow this by examining God’s dealings during the endtime with each of the peoples on Earth separately. We will also look at the Antichrist during those final years as well.
We preface the endtime discussion with a chapter on the signs of the end. Knowing what must happen before the end will keep us from the euphoria or concern felt by many Christians due to the numerous false alarms that have happened and will happen, before the end is upon us.
Chapter 2 examines Daniel’s prophecy in chapter 9 of his book. As we will see, this crucial portion of God’s Word lays the foundation for all endtime prophecy.
In Chapter 3, God’s endtime judgments are explored. Most of these judgments are seen in the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bowls.
Chapter 4 discusses the believers during the end. This portion passes from the rapture of the firstfruits, to the suffering of the majority of believers in the “wilderness” for three and a half years, to the harvesting of the remaining believers at the seventh trumpet.
Israel during the end is the subject of Chapter 5. In particular, her torment at the hands of the Antichrist during her great tribu-lation is examined.
Chapter 6 looks at the shock and terror that befalls the nations when God’s judgments commence. It ends with Christ’s destruc-tion of all the armies of the nations who invade Israel as the age closes.
Chapter 7 traces the Antichrist and his movements from the time he first appears, until he is taken at Armageddon and judged.
In Chapter 8 we look at the happenings on Earth immediately after Israel is saved from destruction by Christ’s appearing.
Chapter 9 is a short concluding word.
