Urgency and Complacency

Urgency is the sense that something is crucial, so much so that it requires attention immediately. Urgency compels us to act upon something due to great need. It includes sincere conviction and a per­sistent determi­nation to carry out a certain course of action.

Complacency, on the other hand, is a sense of self-satisfaction and trust in our own capabilities and experiences that keeps us from going further and progressing. Complacency is often accompanied by a total lack of awareness of our own deficiencies, however severe they might be…
