A New Creation

Twice in his epistles, the apostle Paul used a phrase that can be translated as either new creation or new creature. What did he mean when he used this phrase? While it may seem these two phrases are equivalent, there is actually quite a difference between them. Did Paul mean a new created being—that is, a new human?
